"I still have a few customers for the Original VS Gut; paying
$36.75/set really is painful and the risk of putting it in may
not be worth the profit when you consider the cost and the stress!!
So, the best news is to recommend German-made Blue Star "Fibergut"
or "Stargut" and get that customer into a string that is practically
a duplicate of natural gut at less than half the price! The profit
for the stringer is the same as the original gut at one/fifth
the investment cost for the stringer. The stringer also has the
capability of stocking a larger quantity of string-sets and therefore
has "on hand" a sufficient number of sets in his inventory to
sufficiently supply any number of demands for Blue Star strings.
What a concept---lower cost per set, more sets in inventory, maximum
profit realized per set strung, less time per set to install per
racket, and less stress to do the string job! Adding the "Made
in Germany" label to the recommended Blue Star string type gives
closure to the stringing arrangement you have made with your customer.
